What- our aim is to use the existing market place at the entrance of the city Tira with residence and occupation programs. As en Arabic city located near some of the wealthiest and develops cities in the center of Israel, it is natural to find the solution in the neighbor cities, but the different between the two communities leads us to find new ways to solve this equation.
Why- during the last decades, the government ignored the Arabic cities needs to match it surrounding neighbor cities, and therefore the economic level is now the symbol of two different entities located only few kilometers from each other. The interaction that does exist based on trade, where the two communities buy at each other facilities. We are hoping to reach the equality and understanding based on that ingredient.
How-our aim is to build a hybrid structure that can combine radically different scenarios that coexist together. By analyzing the way of living and working in Tira next to the way people live and work in the high tech field, we’ll find the compatible expression of shapes, program combination and new ways to preserve the “old way of living” in the updating modern needs.
